The solution:  

LYCRA® lastingFIT technology, better known by its consumer brand name LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber, resists fiber damage caused by external agents to deliver long-lasting comfort, fit, and shape to apparel. This technology can use a specially modified LYCRA® brand spandex (elastane) fiber or polyester LYCRA® T400® fiber to create more durable garments.
